Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Veya mobile application ("App") and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download, install, or use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Abdirahman Areys ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Veya is an AI-powered day planning application that generates personalized daily itineraries based on user preferences, location, and interests. The App uses artificial intelligence — specifically Google Gemini — to create activity suggestions tailored to your age, gender, mood, and current location.

Key features of the Service include:

• AI-generated day plans and itineraries personalized to your preferences
• Location-based activity and place suggestions
• Smart logistics with automatic open/close time management
• Anti-repetition technology to ensure fresh recommendations
• Trip saving and organization capabilities

3. End User License Agreement (EULA)

The use of Veya is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA shall take precedence with respect to your use of the App as obtained through the Apple App Store.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may create an account using:

• Email and password — You provide your email address and create a secure password.
• Sign in with Apple — You authenticate using your Apple ID, which may share your name and email address with us.

By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Account deletion is available within the App at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your account data will be permanently removed from our servers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription Terms

Veya offers both free and premium subscription plans:

Billing and Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time by going to your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Veya uses artificial intelligence to generate itineraries and activity suggestions. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• All itineraries and recommendations are generated by AI and should be used as suggestions only.
• The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or safety of any suggested activities, locations, or venues.
• You are responsible for independently verifying details such as operating hours, availability, pricing, and safety of any suggested places or activities before visiting or participating.
• The App is not a travel agency and does not book, reserve, or guarantee any activities, accommodations, or services.
• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, outdated information, or inappropriate suggestions. We continuously work to improve the quality of our AI output.

7. Location Data

The App uses your device's location (when you grant permission) to suggest nearby activities and generate location-relevant itineraries. Location data is processed and handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can disable location services at any time through your device's operating system settings. Please note that disabling location services may limit or affect certain features of the App that rely on your location to function properly.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, software, designs, graphics, trademarks, and other intellectual property associated with Veya (excluding user-generated data) are and shall remain the exclusive property of the Developer and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use any automated system to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

• Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service, including AI-generated itineraries and recommendations
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Termination

The Developer reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• Your account and associated data may be deleted
• Any active subscription will be subject to the cancellation policies of the Apple App Store

All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

The Developer reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice prior to the new terms taking effect, such as through an in-app notification or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
